SLOPE STABILITY
DEFINING SLOPE SAFETY
REMOTELY CONTROLLED
Green Climber Australia provides engineered remote-control solutions for environments UP TO 60°. Removing workers from the Line of Fire since 2012.
What Makes Green Climber Different
-
Green Climber features an ultra-low centre of gravity paired with a patented continuous engine lubrication system, allowing safe operation on extreme gradients up to 60° in any direction. Unlike conventional slope tractors that risk oil starvation or rollover, it easily maintains steep highway batters, dam walls, and rail corridors.
-
Operators can widen the tracked undercarriage by up to 400 mm directly from the remote control while actively working. This delivers instant, wide-track stability on loose or uneven inclines while allowing the machine to retract for standard trailer transport and tight access gates.
-
Built with high-strength steel rollers and a specialized mechanical track-guard system, Green Climber prevents track de-spooling on rough terrain and severe side slopes. This eliminates a primary failure point seen in competitor machines and drastically reduces unscheduled downtime.
-
An integrated hydraulic side-shifting plate extends attachments up to 500mm each side. Crews can cleanly slash under roadside guardrails, clear against fence lines, and mulch drain edges without tracking over hazardous drop-offs or constantly repositioning the carrier.
-
Equipped with a quick-coupling system, Green Climber converts in minutes from a grass flail into a heavy-duty forestry mulcher, stump grinder, trencher, or loading bucket. This delivers year-round fleet utilisation across four seasons rather than sitting idle as a single-purpose mower.
-
Unlike competitor units that compromise cutting torque when climbing, Green Climber utilises separate, dedicated hydraulic pumps for track drive and attachment drive circuits. This independent high-pressure, high-volume flow design ensures maximum hydraulic horsepower is continuously delivered to the flail or forestry head—even under full load on steep 60° inclines—without bogging down or slowing track drive.
-
Engineered with premium S700 high-yield structural steel rather than generic S355 steel, Green Climber delivers double the structural strength with significantly less dead weight. This advanced European build absorbs extreme forestry impact forces while maintaining the lowest centre of gravity in its class for safe 60° slope operation.
PERFORMANCE VERFICATION
PROOF OF CAPABILILTY TRIAL
We don't just "DEMO" equipment, we PROVE ITS CAPABILITY. Our FREE trial allows us to prove to you that the machine is safer, quicker, and provides the solution for your steep slope and high traffic areas.

Green Climber Features
-

TRACK DESIGN
The Green Climber undercarriage has a specially designed track system to avoid de tracking risk. This includes additional rollers, and rollers with teeth, as well as a lower track guide limiting twist on the track.
-

TWO STEP AIR FILTERING SYSTEM
This filtering system is to ensure good engine air intake, with a cyclone pre filter system which has a rotating device that avoids debris to enter the main air filter. A good air filter system improves engine performance and reduces fuel consumption.
-

LOW CENTRE OF BALANCE
The Green Climber has the lowest centre of balance in its category, due to the low position of the engine and oil tank. The engines have a patent system to assure engine lubrication on extreme slopes.
-

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The hydraulic system is fully proportional; allowing the operator to have smooth movements and to control the machine drive and attachments perfectly.
FAQs
-
Green climber is a remote controlled, tracked mulcher/slasher.
It can be fitted with a variety of different cutting heads, and is perfect for carrying out maintenance of green areas, roadsides and highways, particularly in inconvenient or dangerous to reach places.
Thanks to the extendable undercarriage tracks and light weight, its awesome grip on the terrain allows it to tackle extremely steep gradients with ease, uphill, downhill and diagonally – resulting in a safe job executed with speed and precision.
-
Green Climber remote-controlled mowers are engineered to deliver superior safety, stability and productivity in the most demanding vegetation management environments. Unlike conventional slope mowers, Green Climber machines combine advanced engineering with innovative features that allow operators to work safely on steep, uneven and hazardous terrain.
Designed for maximum stability on steep slopes
Green Climber features the lowest centre of gravity in its class, allowing operators to safely mow slopes of up to 60 degrees in any direction. Combined with a hydraulically expanding track system, which widens the machine by up to 400 mm at the push of a button, Green Climber provides exceptional stability on steep embankments, roadsides, rail corridors, solar farms and other challenging environments.
Industry-leading traction and undercarriage design
Every Green Climber is equipped with one of the industry's most advanced tracked undercarriages, featuring:
The highest number of stabilising rollers in its class
An anti-derailment track system
A large ground contact area for superior traction
Outstanding performance on soft, muddy and uneven ground
This design helps keep the tracks firmly in place while reducing ground pressure and improving stability in difficult conditions.
Remote-controlled for improved operator safety
Operator safety is at the heart of every Green Climber machine.
The intuitive single-joystick remote control allows the operator to remain a safe distance from hazards such as:
Steep embankments
Falling debris
Heavy roadside traffic
Extreme heat
Snakes and wildlife
Unstable or slippery ground
By removing the operator from dangerous terrain, Green Climber significantly reduces workplace risks while maintaining high productivity.
Built for versatility
Green Climber is far more than a remote-controlled mower. With up to three proportional double-acting hydraulic auxiliary circuits, it can power a wide range of professional attachments for year-round vegetation management and land maintenance.
Its lateral implement offset of up to 800 mm enables operators to work beyond the machine's footprint, making it ideal for mowing under guardrails, around fences, waterways and other hard-to-reach areas.
Lightweight yet incredibly strong
Constructed from high-strength steel, Green Climber machines offer exceptional durability while maintaining one of the best weight-to-power ratios in the industry. The compact design also makes transport easier and reduces fuel consumption without compromising performance.
Proven reliability
With more than 10 years of experience designing and manufacturing remote-controlled robotic vegetation management equipment, MDB has established Green Climber as one of the world's leading brands in professional slope mowing.
The Green Climber range includes multiple models to suit councils, contractors, road authorities, rail operators, utility providers and commercial vegetation management businesses.
